    Today's DPNow Picture of the Day is a spectacular shot from the South African bush. See Callie's picture now and ask yourself if you are up to the task of being selected for the DPNow POTD too.     To be honest, this is perhaps not Callie's very best picture - Callie's gallery has been updated since this one was selected and there are subjectively better shots there now, but I still feel it's a deserving POTD.

    By the way, if anyone feels they have seen a picture that is worthy of a POTD then please let me know

      Congrats on your POTD. I'm undecided about the twig, presumably the launch point. I suppose it shows that the bird has just left it, otherwise it could be in normal flight. Lovely bird though.
