To be honest, this is perhaps not Callie's very best picture - Callie's gallery has been updated since this one was selected and there are subjectively better shots there now, but I still feel it's a deserving POTD.
By the way, if anyone feels they have seen a picture that is worthy of a POTD then please let me know
Congrats on your POTD. I'm undecided about the twig, presumably the launch point. I suppose it shows that the bird has just left it, otherwise it could be in normal flight. Lovely bird though.
