Hi Ian,

I like generally any challenge and I would actually like to see more challenges running in parallel.
For the specific one though I think that you should narrow the challenge down to only one way of correcting the photo (either improve the photo generally or just try to make an ertistic one out of it).

The reason I'm saying this is that we all should have a common basis of competing.

In other words: Personally now, I don't know what to do really. Should I participate by correcting the photo, or should I participate by applying some artistic effects.

For me these are two different things and I'm sure many people can do great in both of these aspects.
But what if someone does an excellent job in correcting the photo and another does an excellent job in applying artistic effects? Who will win since both are excellent in the category they represent?

Fair enough. But as the challenge has been going a few days, I will simply divide it into two and make it into an artistic as well as an enhancement challenge (depending on whether we get any of each of course ) Two for the price of one!

I'm still wondering how to tackle this one. Are we to just use the contents of the supplied image and improve that, or should we turn it in to something arty by adding to the content. Maybe both are acceptable.

Yes, this has caused some confusion and has been debated elsewhere on the forum.

I will nominate both types of entry for the short list and ask the final voting to appreciate both too.
