    Canon beefs up its flagship and mid-range EOS DSLR models

    Canon has today launched two new DSLRs; its new flagship is the 21 megapixel full frame EOS-1Ds Mark III, up from the Mark II's 16 megapixels and the long-awaited EOS-30D replacement is the 10 megapixel EOS-40D. Both have three inch screens and live view, next-generation DIGIC III imaging pipeline, promising less noise and better dynamic range, also thanks to a new more sensitive Canon CMOS sensor.
