It's all down to publicity. War on Want is a long-serving charity organisation. It has raised millions of pounds over several decades for projects that have made the lives of hundreds of thousands of people at least a little better. But if any charity is not visible, it will not be able to raise funds for its projects to help the needy. A photo competition is a good way of raising awareness.
