    You don't have to be a technical perfectionist or use the latest and greatest cameras and lenses to earn a Picture of the Day spotlight from Digital Photography Now, though it can help!     To add to this, I didn't mention that even though some DPNow photographers are very prolific, I only feature a given photographer a maximum of once per month, so with 5 weekday features and at least four weeks a month, at least 20 different photographers will be featured on POTD a month.

    And just to reiterate - featured pictures do not necessarily have to be technical masterpieces. I do look for these of course, but I also look out for exceptional results produced using modest equipment and will forgive some technical imperfection if the picture itself is well composed and has a great story to tell.

    But fundamentally, if you haven't got any pictures in your DPNow gallery, you won't be a candidate for POTD!

    If you aren't registered (registration to the forum provides you with your own gallery space) - go on: register now, you won't regret it!
