I happened to have read an article here that is about their new models. Not sure whether exactly the same model but most likely more or less similar ones.
The article says that Nokia phones have been a bit behind compared to competitors as far as camera features are concerned and that is the reason Nokia sales have declined these days.

I just thought that phone sales is now more dependent on camera features, a bit of surprise for me as phone is a phone. Phones features are more relevant and important, imho.

While on a trip, I use camera phone very often when I send e-mails to varioius people from my cell phone. So I know it's helpful but not that important for me , as for serious shots I just use simply "cameras". I just feel that 8 mil. pixel is overspecification.

But after writing here so, I recall, yes for some people, camera phones are the only digicam they have or they use. The attached pic - I thought I took the pic of her cell phone camera but regrettably I failed but anyway.
