  • Picture of the Day, Thursday, 14th Dec 2006

DPNow stalwart, Stephen Anstey, has managed to turn an engineering workshop into a scene of fascination and, well, beauty, in today's Picture of the Day. Have a look and see what we mean. Would you like one of your pictures featured as a DPNow POTD? Just take up the free forum and gallery registration option and away you go. If one of your pictures catches our eye, we could be in touch!

Many Congratulations Stephen. A well deserved winner. The more I look at the photo, the more I see. Until I read about it, I hadn't spotted the workers in the background.

      Bravo Stephen!
Excellent light capture/manipulation. As I said in the other thread the man in the background adds a lot to the photo according to my opinion, plus you did a great job by not cloning him out but instead adjust properly the lighting on him looking like he is somehow hiding/fading away in the shadow.

Another thing that impressed me in that photo is that both workers look like sitting and working and not like standing and working like they do.

      Regards

      George
