DPNow stalwart, Stephen Anstey, has managed to turn an engineering workshop into a scene of fascination and, well, beauty, in today's Picture of the Day. Have a look and see what we mean. Many Congratulations Stephen. A well deserved winner. The more I look at the photo, the more I see. Until I read about it, I hadn't spotted the workers in the background.
Bravo Stephen!
Excellent light capture/manipulation. As I said in the other thread the man in the background adds a lot to the photo according to my opinion, plus you did a great job by not cloning him out but instead adjust properly the lighting on him looking like he is somehow hiding/fading away in the shadow.
Another thing that impressed me in that photo is that both workers look like sitting and working and not like standing and working like they do.
