Not strictly new to the UK as they were plentiful in eBay. I have been using a C-169M8 Travel Angel for more than two years. It serves very nicely in situations where I would otherwise be unable to take a tripod. Not made to the same standard as my favourite Velbon Sherpa and using smaller section tubes it would be unreasonable to expect the same level of stability, but fine particularly when using wide lenses or those that have image stabilisation.
