Oh blow! I was so happy when I was shortlisted but now that I Know that I didn't win I feel slightly deflated

Hey! Congratulations for being short-listed!

When I went to the inaugural awards a couple of years ago I felt that the amateurs out-shone the professional entries.

Your photo is currently displaying in the slideshow on the Sony Awards home page. One of just 10 in that particular slideshow (Amateur Architecture Category). It's the 4th picture along in the slideshow thumbnails. That in itself is brilliant!

I reckon you definitely should try again.
