Here is a summary or excerpt from an article that has just been published on DPNow:

Take a bunch of photos and video clips, mix in some music, and hey presto - you have an impressive animated movie with great special effects. That describes muvee Reveal's predecessor, autoProducer. We find out what makes muvee Reveal different and better.

just to correct one factual error: muvee Reveal 8's HD output supports up to 1080p.
on selecting HD, you first select the format (WMV-HD, AVCHD or MOV-HD) and if you want a higher resolution, click on change settings for that particular format and choose 1080p output.
We decided to set the default to 720p as many user's machines still cannot play back 1080p smoothly.

Hi Terence, I'm assuming you work for muvee, so thanks for your input. I have modified the reference to to HD output based on your advice.

Do you have any feedback on my experience where changes to captions, although successfully applied, weren't carried through to the saved-out movies sometimes?

Ian, I am the co-founder & CEO of muvee.
You did not mention the caption in your post. Will need more information. Sounds like a bug, but not something we have seen before. Can you email support at muvee dot com ?
