Here is a summary or excerpt from an article that has just been published on DPNow:

Have you ever received your prints back from the lab and wondered why the top and bottom of the picture has been heavily cropped? Or maybe you ordered borderless prints and they came back with white borders on the short side of the paper? A similar thing may have happened when printing at home on your ink jet printer? Find out why and how to avoid this problem in future.

Don't know how I missed this one from the 11th. Its one of my pet moans about print sizes etc, and something I have blogged on Really pleased then that you have at last got round to highlighting the issue in this article. I really don't understand why the inkjet paper manufacturers can't provide more of the popular sizes that fit the cameras aspect ratios.

Also for Lightroom users there is an interesting article and video on Matt Kloskowskis site Lightroom Killer Tips, which helps you to lay out your prints

Certainly is, Bob. I have a couple more instalments to do first on image parameters, but cropping and resizing are definitely there in the schedule.
