Whoa, steady on a Kurt. The most recent series of POTD featured 38 images from 38 different photographers and spanned 8 weeks. POTD will be back in due course.

Soon be 12 months on . . . . It doesn't really matter, but the front page is in dire need of an update, removing all that defunct material.

I agree, that banner looks very tired and unlikely to attract a new visitor.
