Actually, one thing Horacio didn't explain was the orange effect in the image - at first I thought this was simply colour of the scene but now I am not so sure!

The colors of the picture are real. It has been edited slightly in CS6. I just uploaded the original.

Thanks Horacio - I was convinced the colour had been enhanced but it is good to know what the actual colour was like and I think your interpretation is completely appropriate for the scene.

Congratulations Horatio on your POTD. Very interesting. I enjoyed reading about your trip to India, as we also visited many of the places that you visited. The colours there are so vibrant, you do not need to enhance them.
