It's weird - Ricoh have been using GR as a prefix for camera model names for longer than I can remember and now they simply come up with a 'GR' model!

So here we have a fixed focal length (28mm equivalent) fixed lens compact camera with an APS-C sensor, priced £599. OK, so you can get accessory lenses but surely you would be better off with a compact system camera and interchangeable lenses?

That said, Ricoh has proven that it has a hard-core base of fans, especially in Japan.

Is the GR part of anyone's future plans here?
