Police and PCSOs surrounded by protesters, but it was all prefectly peaceful. One PCSO did (off camera) seem to be bothering a woman unnecessarily though.

An hour after the mass gathering started (apparently it shouldn't be referred to as a 'rally') there ar still hundreds here.
I have video interviewed several people and will publish these and a photo gallery of the event later today

Wow, there are easily 1,000 protesters here. Already bumped into several journos, including the editor of What Digital Camera and Amateur Photographer's news editor. And there was minor scuffle with some PCSOs. More on the way...
