realtime message list

is it possible for the realtime list to be user modifiable?

just checked the 'latest' message list to see that it's been totally flooded with links to blog entries, which on viewing need another link to be clicked.

personally, i'd like to filter these posts out (and the latest dpnow articles) as i feel they mask the 'genuine' discussion going on on the forums.

failing that, can the list just reflect the actual blog post rather than a link to a link? one of my pet hates is having to click twice to get to something.

The blog entries explosion is temporary. I have created a new board to list blog entries and this gets the latest updates, and so they are listed in 'realtime' all on one go. In fact I had to delete and re-run the procedure a couple of times, so this may have made it worse.

But now it's running smoothly, you will only see additions when new blogs are posted. At present, these are not too frequent.

I must admit I quite like them as they are. I like the idea of being able to grab a quick overview of what's happening across the entire site.

I also like the new system of blog updates on the portal page as I'd been finding it it a bit of a faff keeping up with the blogs previously.
