  • Setting up a portfolio

I have been asked if I have a portfolio of my portrait work but haven't got around to doing one yet. Apart from picking out my best work, are there any rules or guidelines to follow.

Thanks DTD, is that it? What about the best print size? I would guess 10x8 would be the best size to put in a portfolio, any thoughts?

                Re: Setting up a portfolio

                Hi Gina,
DTD gave a good run down, but I have been wondering, if in this digital age, getting a book printed would be best for some of your clients. Some clients might like to see actual photographs, but those looking for style might find a book better. The issue that I can see with this is if one or two pages didn't print to your standards.

Does anybody have experience with printed books by "BLURB"? (www.blurb.com - internet book printing service).

Books are a great idea, hadn't thought of that and BLURB looks good, thanks for that Horacio and to all who have helped.
