Exif info in Galleries

The ability to look at the exif info of photos in Galleries appears to have disappeared.? One used to be able to click on the an icon of a camera which was displayed together with other icons below any image selected in a gallery. Now this morning when looking in galleries these icons where not displayed. Can anyone explain what has happened to them or is it me.?

Hello Dennis,

I think there is an on-going problem with the exif data. I thought I had inadvertently changed the settings on my camera and this was even suggested but I knew I hadn't. I've mentioned it before and just like all things PC, these glitches show up now and then. I'm sure the team are on the case and normal service will shortly be resumed.

On 4th Feb, Ian posted this ....

For several weeks there has been a problem with the function that strips out and displays exif camera settings data from images in the gallery. This has now been fixed, so images from now on should display exif data normally. Unfortunately, the images that were uploaded during the problem period are still not showing any exif data. I'm hoping to resolve this and will update this thread when I have news.

The Exif is still there, but in a different place.

I am attaching some screengrabs.

See if you can work it out from these.

Sorry I have spelt your name wrongly on the screengrabs.

On the first one, if you press the little downward triangle to the right hand side, you will find the camera icon at the bottom.

Open the screengrabs in this order:

1, 3, 2
