  • "Seven photos that changed fashion "

Not sure if anybody saw the program on BBC 4 in the middle of the week which was called "Seven photos that changed fashion " . I watched it this afternoon and think it is well worth a look. The program shows how Rankin recreates his seven favorite fashion images by Cecil Beaton, Erwin Blumenfield, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, David Bailey and Guy Bourdin. Trust me it not as dull as it sounds.

It is also on again tonight on BBC 4 at 9 pm but is not available on the i player so you really need to catch it then.

I saw the first run and enjoyed every minute of it. This has to be one of the best "How too" documentaries

      Hi Graham

Sorry missed your post about this program the other day only spotted it after I had posted mine. I guess it helps when you have top models but some of those photos could easily be done anyone, Ok maybe not to those standards but pretty close. I liked the way he was wanting to see the outcome and could not wait for the film photos to come out. No health and safety rules on the Eiffel tower back then I guess.
