Camera in from the cold.

OK - next question from the relative newbie -

Do you take any protective action when you bring your camera in from the cold? Have you had any problems with condensation damaging your electronics, or is that just a myth?

I tend to take steps to try and protect the camera - sealing it in a camera bag and not taking it out for a few hours until it has warmed up. Am I wasting my time or protecting my equipment? What do you think?

We don't think there is a problem - unless there is a huge difference in humidity.

Got to admit I dont normally think about it but with being in Germany where it is a little colder I have but done nothing about it.
It would be interesting to here the Forum's thoughts.
