Just wondered what people would (realistically) like to be given (photographically-wise) as Christmas gifts, and what - if any - you may have given or suggested for others in a similar way?
new brolly ..... wellingtons .... (it's been raining )
Something nice to photograph where I'm not standing in a foot of water,
or mud getting drenched for the third time,
and everything is either steaming up or dripping wet !!
I keep looking for but have yet to find, a really good pair of gloves that I don't have to remove to operate the camera.
Suggestions welcome (for gloves that is)
I use a pair of woollen fingerless gloves Graham, infact I have used them this very morning on a job. They work for me anyway. I think I got them from an outdoor clothing type of shop, and were very cheap

Thanks for the reply. My problem is the tips of my fingers get really cold, I did have some once with removalble finger tips. The moths ate most of them
I didn't know Sainsbury's did things like that (We only have a Food one). I will lookout for "Thinsulate" I had a hat with that in it and it was very good.

I wear them and think they are very good. Exceptional value for the money.

I have a pair of cycling gloves actually a combination of mitts and gloves.
The mitt part keeps the whole hand warm and folds back to reveal fingerless gloves, very practical and effective.
