Sight seems very slow

I dont know if anyone else is experiencing this, but I am finding DPNow really slow recently.....is it just me?

I am glad you said that Ben. For the third time, because my Vista is slow, the techies at Medion suggested I tool it back to factory settings. How bad is that? I have bee working on it all today and now find DPNow is taking forever to load. Now, is it still my computer or is it DPNow?

I am really glad you posted this thread, as I was about to blow my brains out.

My computer seems quite fast when not browsing, ie using Photoshop or other programs, but as soon as I start surfing, it is so slow loading the pages, but my nearly 5 year old computer, with XP OP, also Medion, just flies.

I hate Vista!!

It has just taken 15 seconds to load "Preview Post!"

I am not convinced its because of vista Audrey.

I can load and surf any other website on my PC, and it is only DPNow which seems to be taking a long time to load.

I frequent another photography site, which historically has always been a lot slower than dp, and today, I have actually been surfing that site, while each page loads here.

I would be interested to hear what others are experiencing.

I have just navigated away from that site to dp in another browser, and it took some 29seconds to load. Navigating back took 3 seconds.

It's zippety quick this morning I will ask David if he knows of anything that might be slowing things down at certain times of the day...

No problems whatsoever here - it's quick as usual. I only have a 576kbps connection too.

I also am finding that pictures are slow to build up almost line by line where previously they would appear almost instantly. I am running XP on a Core duo processor and use Firefox browser which I find is always faster than IE.
