    Quick question,
why is exif info available for some shots in galleries but not others.

Apathy is on the increase ..... but who cares ?

    Re: Exif Info

I think it depends on how the image has been saved for web display Mias. If you resize your image in PS via the "Image" - "Image Size" drop down menu then it leaves your exif data intact. If, however, you resize by "File" - "Save for Web & Devices", then it discards it. If I'm barking up the wrong tree then I'm sure a more learned person will correct me.

This is correct, some photos may have had the exif stripped out by the software. However its often the case that if the same photo is put into several different categories the exif does not show up in in the extra categories. This is a bug in the gallery software, but when Ian updates the database or whatever it is he does, the exif data seems to appear.
