Don't mind it – not too keen on their new logo though.
By the way – there are a few problems with the web site when using I.E. or Safari. The shrink to fit option didn't work on my last order. Their technical support are fixing it and recommended using FireFox which doesn't seem to be having problems.
Still the best online photo processors in my opinion.
Definitely the best processors - can't argue with that!
I'm using firefox actually and was having problems with the uploader so I eventually uploaded the old way. That was fine for just a few but much slower than usual. I think maybe it was because it's the first time I'd used the new site so I was having to wait for everything to transfer then load (I have a lot stored in several albums).
I finally managed to get the order done. All were cropped to size before uploading anyway so there shouldn't be any problems ... I hope!
I suppose I'll get used to it but I'm hoping against hope our middle son doesn't ask me to process, upload and order his latest piles of files. I'd only just managed to persuade him to open his own a/c and I don't think he'd uploaded his 300+ files yet.. so I s'pose I'm gonna have to explain it all again. ....... then end up having to do it myself. It'd take forever if I have to use the old uploader method
I've always had to use the old fashioned way of uploading. I assumed it was just a mac problem.
I've just this minute managed to get the fast uploader working normally again - but only with IE7. It doesn't work for me with Firefox though. It loads and shows the folder tree and all the content, moves the pix into the uploader ok but just won't upload them, just stops dead with no modem activity whatsoever.
I'm relieved it's working for me properly with IE7 though - so all I have to hope for now it that IE7 doesn't start playing silly buggaz anytime I'm in the middle of a large upload. So I'm happy with Photobox again now -- I think.
Have you tried the fast uploader with various browsers with your Mac? The fast uploader is much better if you have a folder full of files uploading imo.

Good luck, fingers crossed you'll find one that works for you. Browsers can be tempramental things across various websites. Strange thing is Firefox was ok for me on their old site.
I can't use IE7 for tesco.com even though IE6 worked perfectly. Tesco blames BT, BT blames tesco .......... I blame M$.

Everyone blames M$! lol...Yahoo! (oops)
I am on IE7, and just had a play at work, and I quite like the new set up.
When you say IE7 doesnt work, what are the symptoms, could be to do with your security settings (more often than not, this is the cause)

Don't you start or I'll scream!!
I had endless exchanges with Tesco and BT concerning the IE7 problems with the Tesco website and finally gave up even trying to use IE7 there. I'd already been through 1001 different changes of setting with them mainly trying to be 'helpful' and site works perfectly for me with Firefox so I dunno why I even bothered reporting the problem to both sides and getting embroiled in the repeated suggestions and discussions.
There are, or were, a few threads scattered around various support forums concerning problems some peeps were having with IE7 and the Tesco website and tesco insisted it was only btinternet broadband users having the problem - btinternet insited there was no problems their end. I think most of them were posting in the BT broadband support forum iirc.
In my case - IE6 had always been fine with the Tesco website. After I updated to IE7 the browser kept hanging, egg-timer spinning ad infinitum but pages not opening. Other people were reporting the same problems.
Last I heard it was still happening and Tesco and BT were still "talking to each other" about it and customers seemed to mainly give up on them both and just trying various browsers then stick with whatever worked for them.
As for IE7 ......... I only use it if I absolutely have to - ie M$ updates and any site that doesn't behave perfectly with Firefox (such as the fast uploader on Photobox).
Do a search for threads about IE7 and the Tesco website You'll probably find peeps reporting other websites hanging with IE7 too - or reporting how it keeps crashing when they click to change pages on random websites. I'd have rolled back to IE6 but peeps reported they couldn't and some folks that did manage found that didn't work either.
To be perfectly honest I cba with IE7 unless I* have no other choice but to use it. Sorry.
I've just been trying out IE7 + the Tesco website again. It seems the problem must have been fixed because I was able to browse the site with no significant problems.

IE7 is still slower than Firefox though ...... but at least it seems to be able to chug it's way around the aisles without slipping on a grape and falling on its outsize bottom now.
As I understand it (and this isn't meant to be an M$ bashing post) Internet Explorer in all its guises doesn't always follow the www consortium's guidelines, so when a website does it can run into problems. Many web designers see that Explorer is the dominant browser, so make allowances for its 'innovations'.
I've used M$ Word since the 1980s and seen it bloat and bug it's way along. I think there's a culture with M$ that this is a fine way to carry on.
I prefer Safari or FireFox.

haha lovely description!
Its probably slower as it has more security features now.
Just use what your happy with, and if you have a decent firewall, it shouldnt be an issue.
I've now used the new Photobox for the first time since the changes and I found it easier than before. The whole process seemed to be completed more quickly too. So its a from me. Oh and I could order prints with the correct aspect ratio too so that
I'm a fairly regular PhotoBox user ever since consigning my own printer to the shed because of the cost of replacement inks.
Earlier this week I ordered 180+ prints in different sizes from a wedding shoot via the new PhotoBox site and found it slower than the old site and not quite as intuitive to use. No doubt I'll get used to it though and it does have the air of increased functionality about it - not that more functionality / complexity is necessarily always a good thing.
One problem I did find was that if your gallery runs into more than one page you have to order those you ticked on the first page before switching to page 2. I found out this the hard way when I confirmed my order but it only put the items selected on the second page into my basket so I had to go back through a complex selection of the 100 or so images on page 1.
I also ordered a photobook that I'd first had printed a few months back and for this you have to follow a link to the old site as, unlike your galleries, they're not being migrated to the new site (they'll hold on to your old books until July IIRC).
The prints turned up yesterday and they're OK but not quite up to their usual standards IMHO. Some of the shots I'd had "test" printed previously and in a side by side comparison those printed earlier, look better - not a great deal but noticeable. 'er indoors thought they looked fine though and says I'm just too critical . I'll see what the "client" (family freebie) thinks on Sunday when I hand them over.
The PhotoBox service, as ever, was really first class.
