    anyone tried firefox 2.0 yet?

downloaded it today and there's some great plug-ins you can use with it, such as spell checking form fields etc. the ad blocker is particularly impressive. for those who run their own web pages there are some cool plug-ins to identify problems, hide style sheets etc. haven't tried ie7 yet but so far, firefox is well worth looking at.

Yep, having been an ardent Firefox fan for some time now I downloaded it at the weekend, not had time to evaluate it over the earlier version yet but the add ons and plugins have always been there as you will know.

TBH I've developed an almost unhealthy liking for Flock that I mentioned Here

Its main benefits for me are the direct integration with Photobucket and/or Flickr, and a built in newsreader page using RSS feeds from any website. It is based on Firefox and uses all its plugins.

      Re: browsers

Downloaded Firefox 2.0 on the day it came out, up to then I've always used IE , I do like the spell check in Firefox, very useful, I have found that when writing in some text boxes I get around 3 lines in then can't start a new line, unless I refresh or delete, also find it loads images a little slower than IE, may go back to IE yet, still undecided.

I tried Thunderbird instead of outlook express but my e-mails were disappearing , looked in every folder including the junk folder, none to be found even though I go the message to say new mail, back to OE for that reason, maybe I will give it another go and find it's just me and not Thunderbird.
