Digital Photo Frames

We're thinking of getting a digital photo frame as a present for someone.

Anyone had a good (or bad) experience of this technology? Any recommendations? I'm looking for something like a 10" x 8" model.

I looked at some smaller (7" I think) models in Dixons and they didn't look that good and I was surprised that the resolution was 640 x 480 (even less on one model).

I have an inexpensive one in for review from Mustek - not used it yet though. Will let you know later...
