Some time ago perhaps a couple of years now we discussed on this forum the rules imposed by the BBC giving them copyright to competition entries.
I complained to the BBC myself and was fobbed of with the usual platitudes.
Ian defended their position I seem to remember.

Anyway the subject has surfaced again in AP, with AP (they claim) forcing the BBC to change these rules all be it only slightly but does now clearly state copyright remains with the author.

    Good news, Patrick!

If I recall, I was trying to stake a point of view that looked at the likelihood of the BBC ripping anyone off - in other words, highly unlikely and if it did happen, would almost certainly have been as a result of some kind of mistake. But it's always welcome and preferable for the technical side of the copyright agreement to be more friendly
