If it's not the toddlers either picking my latest subject with a gleeful "pretty flower" after I've spent ages trying to get the tripod & camera settings just right, or climbing on me as I'm about to take a shot, it's the bl*dy wildlife scaring the living daylights out of me!

Hubby kept the kidlets entertained so I could have some photo time and the result was nearly standing on two snakes in the same day while wandering along fiddling with the camera settings! Sort of got a snap of the second little blighter but I wasn't game enough to do too much moving to do so - he wasn't quite as shy as the first.

ha ha, very witty Stephen lol. We also nearly ran over a tiger snake on the road the next day - very near where I took the swamp pics which are in the critique section...so much for a relaxing weekend away.
