Came across this today. Obviously not a definitive list but rather one persons opinion. However undoubtedly they were important and pretty groundbreaking in the world of photography. They all have a story of course, being able to link your images to a moment in history, must be the mark of great photographers
Here are also 2 other links of a Greek fellow photographer Yiannis Behrakis.
One is in the Greek Photographic website and the other is his personal page with his portfolios.
They are very interesting and I thought you might like to navigate through and check them out.

Thanks for that George. This man has passion, he has some truly wonderful images, I'm just looking at his Israel and Palestine shots, fantastic, they are very emotional. Someone to aspire to eh?

Definitely Stephen, Definitely.
Though I believe that the chance someone has, to be in environments like these also counts a lot, towards some nice shots.

Opportunity is obviously an important factor, but its being able to put across the moment in a meaningful way that is the skill of a true reportage photography. This man has a creative eye, once again thanks for the links, I've bookmarked his site to browse at leisure

Of course Stephen, he is talented obviously, with great imagination that triggers his eye creativeness.
In some of his photos this is somewhat visible, as it looks that his camera was positioned ready for a photo and that he clicked the button a few tenths of a second prior of the occurrence of the incident.
I have bookmarked him too, 3 years ago.
