Re: Travelling again
More and more to see. Looks more like a world wide trip, rather than Australia.
Good to put faces to your names.
Really like the illuminations on the Church. Fabulous wildlife shots.
I am enjoying your trip, as much as you are.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4

Re: Travelling again
What can I say ? Simply fabulous, Rab.
So enjoying sharing your trip with you. Your really getting about there and making the most of your trip.
Liked the aquarium photos, and in particular the Dugong. HMB Endeavour and HMAS Onslow were of particular interest to me. You photographed them well.
Green with envy when I saw the beach scenes and the weather. Could do with a couple of weeks of that myself.
The shells of the War Memorial look enormous.
Now looking forward to your adventures in Auckland.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4

Re: Travelling again
A great series of pix added to your trip Rab - impressive.
I think a number of us are quite jealous of the weather you have encountered so far - it has been quite cold and drab here.
Thanks again and looking forward to more.

Yes kookaburras are kingfishers but Australian. This one was the sacred kingfisher of New Zealand.Originally posted by Garry View PostLooking at the beak, it looked more like a Kookaburra...…….
All the Hobbit holes are facades. Even Bag End was only 2 metres deep so that a film crew could get inside to film the outside view.
Glad you are still finding it of interest. We are having a great time
