A very interesting read, Ian.

Although I have been aware of fake goods and electronics.
I really didn't give memory cards a thought.
Fortunately I only buy memory from hopefully, reputable companies, and have never yet had a problem.
I wonder how many people are using fake memory cards, without knowing it ?

Was in my phone for over a year. It seemed to work OK until of course it filled up the 8GB of actual memory it contained. After that it started over-writing my existing files. I should have known better and will now test all new cards as a matter of routine.
