The guy maybe foolhardy to some extent, but I reckon thats true dedication Heck I even left my wellies in the boot of the car on Friday evening when I went to Crosby Beach to take some shots and was whingeing about getting my shoes wet

I spotted that the day it appeared - forgot to mention it! I suspect they must have been cold, wet and very worried at times - but at least he has some unique pictures recording the experience.

I can't help wondering if he got a 'hammering' when he eventually got home

That is a superb picture. It it one I would 'Hang' in my lounge (next to my Rialto Bridge
). I wish it were mine!

seriously, there are some gems in there....some 'i dont get' but very inspirational.

My sentiments too. I sometimes like the shot but occasionally have reservations about the processing - but they're always intriguing and inspiring.

Have you seen the following on (the 10th) of his friend on 'his side of the boat' on the night they got stuck out there? Not a lot of shots like that around the place!

I love it!

Something like this has everything, forground interest, leading the eye away to the boat in the background, and those textures are lovely.
I like what you have done with the sky as well, adds more interest to the shot.
