  • Rather nice BBC short piece about Victor Friedman

He is an 83 year old retired hair dresser from New York who had many high society clients and used his photography hobby to good effect over the years.

Victor Friedman, a high society hairdresser in New York, spent his time away from the salon as a street photographer in more down-at-heel locales.

    I enjoyed that, thanks.

It's the sort of photography that never really goes out of date, never loses its appeal. People appeal, if you know what I mean.

The only problem these days is getting people to pose. No problem with these two the other evening in Leicester Sq.

They don't come much more candid than that. eh! It's a very nice one though, seriously!

I was just moaning about aching all over, been replacing curtain rails hanging new curtains etc and your picci has cheered me up no end, even made me giggle. The joys of youth!
