I'm back from Japan!

Hi all, back in the UK at 7AM this morning. Not yet home as we're at my in-laws to have lunch and take the kids (kids?! - they are 15 and 17!) home.

Been travelling for 36 hours and we are completely shattered. But I hope to be back up to speed and posting photos and the like later this evening

Hiya, traveller! Welcome back.

BTW - we still call our lot 'the kids or the lads' and they're 39 and 37 and 30. The youngest is referred to as 'the bairn' by all of us because he's only 30.

Was able to spend a whole day with Yoshi of DPNow forum fame and will post some photos of him and us shortly

Haha - I briefly went to the office to check the post, then the supermarket for some essentials, cooked dinner and by 9PM I was out for the count Slept for 10 hours...

That taste developed a long time ago

For clarification, I believe sushi is various foods, even including a kind of omelette (eggs) and vegetables, as well as raw fish, served on a morsel of rice. The raw fish, specifically, is sashimi.

I was under the impression that 'sushi' covered all aspects of the unusual combinations including raw fish. Sashimi is a new word for me .... thanks.
