  • No files to burn

    I need help here please.

I am trying to burn a dvd for my brothers of our parent's Diamond Wedding (1994).

It plays on my computer and the TV, and when I right click there is an option to burn to disk. When I click on this, it says that there are no files to burn!

    Can anyone help me please.

Could it be something to do with it not having been finaised, if so, I don't have the software to do that now, I don't think.

Hi Audrey - what software are you using to create the DVD and burn it?

Well I used to have Nero, but it says it's out of date now and I would need to renew it, so I will only be using the software available on Windows 7 Home Edition.

I've got Windows Media Centre. As you know the computer is new as I only bought it last December.

This is the information on the files. The Audio_TS file is empty.

          Hi Audrey,

I"m not clear on what you're trying to do. It sounds like you have a a functioning DVD already if you're able to watch it on a TV. Are you trying to copy it to another DVD? If so, here's an article that might help. If you're having a different issue let me know and I'll try to replicate it on my Windows 7 machine.

I've now managed to copy it thanks. I was copying the files and clicking burn, but I have now pasted the copied files onto my desktop and dragged and dropped them onto my dvd burner and it seems to have worked.

            Thanks to both of you.

                Thanks for the info.

Personally I do not have a video camera. These were DVDs shot years ago that I needed to copy, but now it is done, I don't think I would have the need to use this software, but it does look interesting. Thanks for your trouble.
