  • Your most impressive photo?

I realise that most will have a big back catalog of photos.

But i would be interested in seeing what you think is your favorite/best picture you have taken?

    If its possible that is!!

Haha! Nobody wants to commit to this! It's a very tough question. I can't say what my best picture is and I have lots of favourites. This is one, though:

Some, but not by any means all, of my favourites are on Flickr.

        Tough in the extreme.

I also have many favourites though I wouldn't describe any of them as impressive.

I have a 'the dark side of me' self portrait that did my head in trying to get the shot - I might, just might, consider showing the final printed version of that. It's a bit of a weird shot though so I'll keep thinking about it a while longer.

All self portraits do my head in!

          Re: Your most impressive photo?

To pick just one is a impossibility, to pick your best is subjective depending on the veiwer.

The best you can do is pick your own personal favourite and if you shot only one subject that would be easy, but I find it impossible to choose from the varied subject matter I shoot.

So from 25 years of photography I will give you not my best/most impressive but my

          Favourite portrait I have took

Really hard... let's pick couple - they are not the greatest but I personally like them for some reasons (and they were online already)

The first picture I really liked was one I took couple of years ago when got myself an used Olympus E-1 and just tried it out. The pic that made me love my E-1. Then again your own kids are always the prettiest ones - especially the first one

Next one I was impressed that got anything out from it. I was on a ferry that went through the ice and was turning so there were a lot of vibrations. Focal length 90mm shutter speed 1/60 without stabilization. Expected a lot more noise out from there as used ISO800 but...

              Re: Your most impressive photo?

Here is just a "Snap". I saw the old lady looking down the road (Croatia) and was just about to take her photo when she spotted someone else down the road doing the same thing. She turn her head away from the other camera and I took the pic just as she turned. I was lucky and it has done very well for me in local and regional photographic Club competitions.

It was taken with the baby Panasonic Fx01 (which I ran over last year)

I don't like the thick black border any more, but the pic was in my gallery

I've always considered this place "impressive". I bought the Zuiko 7-14mm with this picture in mind and the lens did not disappoint.

It's one of my most successful pictures and several prints are hanging on walls.

I have seen this image many times in various competitions, but this one takes some beating. Fantastic image Graham.

Very tough to choose but my first instinct was to go with this one. Several others along with some of my drawings can be found here.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for this one of a Bittern.

As pointed out by others very hard to make a choice, probably vary with mood.
