I see Pinterest has now added a facility to block and/or report undesirable followers and I have now got rid of the person blatantly promoting a weight loss solution
Just realised that Pinterest strips out shooting infromation from the exif metadata, just retaining the copyright notice if present. This will surely reduce Pinterest's attraction for photographers.
Also, despite me pinning a fair number of shots and following 50 or so others, my number of followers has been stuck at 20 for some time!
Yes, that does seem to be the main concern. I have only pinned my own photos.
But as PC Pro does point out some sites will benefit from click-throughs from Pinterest users. Like the author, I am torn between the two - preservation and respect of my copyright and the benefit of people finding my work and coming through to my site. It's a very difficult one.
