  • A trillion frames per second?

    Caught a BBC news item about an MIT camera that can apparently capture a trillion frames per second:

    MIT scientists unveil a camera capable of taking pictures at a rate of one trillion frames per second, which can track pulses of light.


    Not sure what I was looking at concerning the video on the page though!

    Looks a lot like a tomato and a roll of yellow "phase" tape

    We used to play with some very high speed imaging but this is orders of magnitude faster...

    Still not fast enough to see that FTL Neutrino

    Who knows what will spin off of this technology, maybe real-time exposure could make a come back

      Hadn't got a clue what I was watching and...
