...you all a very Happy Christmas, or if you don't celebrate this in particular, I hope you have a peaceful and happy 25th December!

I'll not be too far from a computer throughout the rest of the week, so if any of you happen to be around tomorrow and Boxing Day - maybe we'll bump into each other on the forum

I pity my poor sister, who is hosting 20+ relatives and cooking (at least) two enormous turkeys (which we have here in the UK traditionally for Christmas dinner, rather like Americans do for Thanksgiving) to sustain us all.

But it's my turn to slave over a hot stove on Tuesday...

So the best seasonal wishes to you all and thank you for your continuing and much-valued DPNow patronage!

The "kids" (all over 20) have been queueing up for Dad who has spent the morning setting up an iPod plus accessory radio tuner / transmitter, a PSP including access to our wireless network and a Canon A620 camera & software serves me right for buying them I guess!

Whatever happened to an apple, an orange and a bag of sweets?

Just been thrown out of the kitchen by 'er indoors but I guess I'll get the job of carving soon. Don't think we've had turkey since last Xmas so I'm really looking forward to it.

It's still time here - early afternoon - to wish you all the best, although those in other parts of the world are already recovering (or suffering) from their Christmas dinners. Mine will come later - prime rib this year, more usual than turkey for my American wife.... and just fine as it's just the two of us this year.

I'm not sure how it works but I'll try to attach this year's goofy Christmas card....

We survived an excellent dinner; my sister was a hero today

And afterwards I was introduced to the gastronimic delights of Vacherin cheese - quite delicious!
