  • Memory Cards

When reading threads on where to buy memory cards, I would normally suggest MyMemory.com there own cards come with a life time warranty and operate at the same speed as SanDisk Extreme III cards.

Now whoever, for competition to MyMemory.com, I suggest you look at Play.com who have branched out form just selling DVD's and CD's and now have a much wider merchandise base including DSLR cameras.

(Disclaimer; I do not work for either of these companies but have bought from both of them for many years without any problems)

Hello Brian, I'd be interested to see the independent test evidence that either of these brands match SanDisk Extreme III in performance. In my own tests, Extreme III cards are usually marginally faster than the best of their competitors and sometimes substantially faster under certain conditions.

However, it does depend on the camera. But your Nikon D200, for example, can genuinely take advantage of very fast cards, so I'd be careful of accepting manufacturer claims if there is no independent verification.
