    Re: Which Photo Magazine

Subscribe (Thanks Mrs Dave) to the British Journal of Photography (weekly) and Olympus User (quarterly, available by direct subscription).
Read Amateur Photographer reasonably often (probably monthly).
Buy others if there is a competition I want to enter or submit stuff.

I prefer magazines about photographs rather than cameras if that doesn't sound too sniffy.

I must admit that I pick up most of the magazines each month. I do not buy the ones that are more camera reviews then anything else. A new one one the market is dslr user, I think its now on its second issue. Having said that I must stop buying so many magazines. I would hate to know how much money I have spent over the years on different mags.

There's the rub Peter, we are lured by our lust for info and the glossy images, and yet at up to a fiver each the total cost is often forgotton. I could have bought a shed load of gear with that money I've spent over the years

Same thing here. I subscribe to 3 or 4 US mags, and purchase at least that many different UK ones from the news-stand as available. Favorite UK is Digital Photographer; favorite US is Popular Photography & Imaging.

Stephen, ditto your comments. And it could have been the best gear around, too!

            Re: Which Photo Magazine

I've read Practical Photographer a few times, but I buy Professional Photographer pretty regularly, mainly for the relevant articles and the fact that it isn't crammed full of adverts.

I actually have 2 mags on my desk Digital Photo Pro and Digital Photo. I have to admit though I am influenced by the front cover oh and if I need some reading material, otherwise I find I can get my fix of photo babble from the net these days
