Sometimes we get hooked on our arcane enthusiasms and get carried away. I was doing the sound desk for a public talk today and the speaker went on and on for about two hours on the history of corkscrews. I spent the last hour looking at longingly at the 'mute' button on his mic channel

Trouble is, I suspect I have been equally tedious on some of my photographic talks.

No doubt you are all quite innocent in this regard
