That's a nice new feature showing the latest blog on the portal page. It makes it much quicker and easier to see at a glance what's been happening.

Thanks Pol. The new blogs are shown on the top right of the portal page:

The latest comments are then shown at the bottom of the same page.

At the moment, we're also automatically posting a new blog alert as a forum message, but that will probably disappear (at least off the forum portal), as it's repetition.
