Here is the first I my contribution to the snow theme.
I have taken the snowy weather as an opportunity to test out my new Canon G10. I was going to by the Panasonic Lumix LX3 but the greater zoom range of the Canon lens won the day.

Hi
Thanks for that, here a cuople more, all taken on the common just a few yards walk from the house.
Well I said before I would post something so here it is. Sorry but after having to wait about 17 years for some real snow this is all I have to show. Oh and jds is that allowed I mean the blatant advertising
I like the second one the most just like the tracks in the the snow that I think leads to a great sky. Then I guess I would think it's a great sky it's my photo
As Peter said in an earlier post, it has been snowing in Guernsy. I walked to work (I need to go uphill and definetly wouldnt take the car). It was a long walk taking in a park and a couple of churches, and our grandson with his first view of snow
Here are some from the walk
I think only in Guernsey you would get away with this on a main road!
I love your holly shot! BTW whilst you people in UK are having heavy snow falls etc, we in Australia have had a dreadful heatwave, particularly last week, of temperatures hovering above 42 degrees for 5 days and more! Some days reaching 45! When I climbed into my car, I almost passed out as temp was 50 degrees inside the car! Not fun I can assure you! Such soaring temperatures created havoc everywhere! Traffic lights out in numerous places! Neighbourhoods without electricity completely for hours! Ours was one of them! Too much demand on power & insufficient supply! On the news yesterday, the brand new Melbourne Star Wheel has been closed indefinitely due to buckling of some parts from the extreme heat! Global warming is a reality!
We've got hardly any snow here in Swanage. Here's a shot I took this morning, from a moving car! It's all blurry in the top corner, where a snowflake hit the lens. Advice on how to Photoshop this would be appreciated.

With the UK bracing herself for another bout of snow later on today, we were shocked to wake-up this morning to the ongoing fires in Australia. Frames travelling at up to 50 mph!! Our thoughts go out the people affected.
