  • How to make your forum pix hot-linked to your gallery

I've produced a very simple video clip to demonstrate how to make gallery pictures that you have posted in your forum messages hot-link back to their place in your gallery.

There is no commentary and it was something I knocked up quickly to answer a question of a similar nature in another thread.

You will need to have Adobe Flash enabled in your browser.

There is another way to do this. If you click on OPEN (bottom right of the text panel) it takes you to your gallery pics. Select in the top panel Clickable thumbnail, then select your picture by clicking on it. This inserts a thumbnail picture into the text and will display the larger gallery picture when viewers click on it. Hope that all make some sense. Its very easy to do like so.

Yes, the main difference is that with the other method, you get to post a larger size hot-linked version of the image, instead of a thumbnail. But now we have increased the size of the thumbnails, your method is pretty good too .
