  • Sliding content for featured threads

This is only experimental - it could be restricted to being displayed to non-members, for example.

    Feedback welcome

Ah! Starting to give the forum it's identity.

The sliding content for featured threads works fine. Obviously some images work better than others. The images that are there at the moment look good, apart from the blackbird, as it cant really be seen.

But I assume the images will change accordingly. Over all I like the look of it.

This feature is frustratingly limited by default though it can be improved with some extra coding, but I have no idea how to do it myself.

It does look a lot better on a smartphone display as the image aspect ratio is more square.

Agreed! Just looked at it on my smart phone. It definitely is better suited to that. But I am old school and use my PC more than I use my phone.

I think the content slider is more for people who have just discovered the forum and aren't yet members? At least the full width position at the top of the home page. I can limit the visibility to guests only.

What I'd really like is to show a selection of posted photos at the top of the home page.
