  • Experimental floating page scroller buttons

I have installed a widget that is designed to scroll the page up and down and to the centre of a page.

You can see it on the right hand margin.

At present it does a good job of Down and 'Center' but the Up mode stops without quite reaching the top.

I will see if that can be fixed - it's a third-party add-on and quite new.

OK - it now scrolls to the top properly 👍

I would welcome feedback on this mod.

      Working fine...….....

Not sure that it is a feature that I would find useful to be honest. Seems odd to go, Top, middle or bottom.
If it was a thread with numerous posts. It may shoot past where you want to stop..
Just my opinion. Be interesting to hear from other members.

it will work on any forum page, be it a thread or a list of threads, etc.

It's clever...…...But I have more control if I use the centre wheel on my mouse. I can scroll up or down at what speed I want,

It seems to be a popular addition with E group. No other comments here yet.

Actually opinion was split and there were good arguments for not having it. Basically, the widget needs an option to turn it off so I have disabled it for the E-Group for now. I'll do the same here.

I have sent feedback to the developer.

Sur[prised that no one else has given any feed back here. I saw that it was missing. My comment that it appeared to be favourable in the E group, was previous to those who disliked it.

I have it installed on my forum site. It is to the far right and dose not cover any of the forum page. Also changes colour as you hover over it. Good to get to the top or bottom when you are searching a long list.
Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Down sized to Nikon s7000 compact camera.
