Some more technical changes and possible inconvenience

I apologise in advance but for technical reasons we need to switch to using 'www' in site urls. This will be automatic but it will almost certainly mean you will find you will need to re log-in to the forum unexpectedly.

I hope you will bear with this - it should only be a problem for a day or two. A good tip is to ensure you browser can remember the new password and that you check the box that keeps you logged in (assuming that's what you already do).

That's to be expected but now you should be OK (assuming you let your browser record the login details).

Chrome wasn't keen, but Opera is fine now that I've logged back in.

Chrome is a bit odd - you may need to delete dpnow.com cookies and re log-in.

I have cleared cookies but still having to log in each time I come to the site. I am using Chrome.

peter Have you allowed the browser to save your login? (it normally asks when there is a change in login details, which it effectively is when cookies are cleared). This is different to the tick box the forum log in gives you to keep your session from timing out.

That's very strange, Peter. I have been testing the site with Chrome and no problems at my end.

Try using using the www version of the site address (www.dpnow.com) specifically.

Don't worry if Chrome hides the 'www' - that's just Chrome for you

Just received an email from Pat and although the URL etc was there, when I pressed it, nothing happened - it didn't link to the article. I just had to Google the address and sign in again. A Happy New year to you.
