Post your 'Thanks' option is now working

A system for showing your appreciation to an interesting, useful or informative forum post is now opterational on the DPNow forum You will see a 'Thanks' button next to the reply/quote buttons at the bottom right of each forum post. If you click on the Thanks button the person who posted the message will earn your thanks and these are accrued over time. At the top right of posts you can see if or how many thanks a person has made and received.

This is in addition to our facility for highlighting a post on Facebook (using our forum post Facebook 'Like' button).

PS You aren't allowed to thank yourselves so you won't see the Thanks button in your own posts

Good to know, David. I think there was a cookie change when we upgraded the forum version. Apologies for any inconvenience - and when are you going to get that broadband fixed?

I had a minor panic just now - I couldn't see the 'Thanks' button on Pol's post, but of course I had already thanked her so the button had disappeared

I don't know when we'll get the computer back online. I was laid off mid December and still haven't received any unemployment.
