You may have noticed that the site has been inaccessible for about 12 hours since yesterday afternoon (UK time).
This was because of a hardware failure on the server that corrupted the operating system. The server had to be rebuilt both in terms of software and hardware but unlike the problem we had last year we think little if any data was lost.
It's very ironic because we have ordered a new and much improved dedicated server which we hope will go live later this week - obviously the old one found out and decided to go out in a fit of pique!
The new server initialisation will mean further down time, but at least this will be scheduled and we can warn you about it.
Again, I'm very sorry for any inconvenience.
